Its been a while since my last blog post, for which my apologies. Its been a busy start to the year, and sometimes I’m too busy actually doing the work to come here and post about it. Several projects have completed recently, and its my aim for the next few weeks to go out and photograph them, and update my website with them.
So this is just a little catch up post. I’ve been busy working on some more interiors for Coombe Lodge, updating and refreshing the 12 bedrooms which were refurbished in two stages in 2011 and 2013, with new soft furnishings, and accessories. I’ve also been designing a new library for the ground floor. This room is going to create a lounge area, for the already very successful wedding venue, with soft seating and lighting, an area to relax during a busy library. The fireplace is being refurbished by Mendip Fireplaces in Monkton Combe, and new bookshelving should be arriving next month, and a great booksupplier is providing a library of antique books. Its been great sourcing new soft seating, lighting and occasional furniture for this impressive and grand room, and I’m looking forward to showing you photos of the completed scheme soon.
I’m busy with extensions of all shapes and sizes too, and have submitted planning applications for projects in Fishponds, Bishopston, Bradley Stoke, Frampton Cottrell, Larkhall (Bath), Emerson’s Green and others, and been appointed to new jobs in Brislington, Stoke’s Croft, Hortham Village, Bedminster, Patchway, Yate, Thornbury, Emersons, Downend, Totterdown, Winterbourne Down, Bishopston and Longwell Green.
As always, if you are interested to building an extension, or other alterations, or would like some help with the interiors of your home or business, get in touch!
