Loft Conversion- St Werburghs

This loft conversion added a new full width dormer to the rear of a terraced Victorian house in St Werburghs, adding a new, spacious bedroom and en suite. In order to fit in new stairs, a new area of hallway was added, which has increased the sense of space in the circulation areas. To maximise space in the new loft bedroom, the door was put on the first floor, so the staircase comes up into the bedroom directly and the owners have cleverly incorporated built in storage, accessible from the stairwell, into the space also, in addition to new built in storage in the bedroom itself. New french doors and juliet balcony gives a beautiful view into an adjoining park, and the en suite is a comfortable bathroom. The existing bedrooms on the first floor have been retained, meaning the property new enjoys 3 beds and 2 bathrooms and the owners have done a wonderful job of decorating and accessorising the space.
