Two Storey Extension

This two storey side extension in Downend replaced an under used side driveway and old garage to the rear of the house, creating a new master bedroom suite, garage/store, utility, WC and play room. The house originally had a front door and first floor bedroom window on the side elevation so these were relocated to the front as part of the works.

The hallway has been refurbished, while the existing kitchen leads to a new utility and WC in the extension, which adjoin, to the front- a new garage/storage space, providing ample storage for bikes etc, and to the rear, a new playroom/study/music room with doors which lead to the garden.

The existing garage was demolished and replaced with a new decking area, which, despite the increase in floor space to the house, has increased the size of the garden and allows for a more expansive view of the exterior space.
