Playroom extension

 

The owners of this semi detached house in Downend wanted to create a new reception room which would offer them a playroom/study and give them a room from which to look out over their rear garden.

The existing attached garage was renovated and partially converted to create a WC and utility space, and a single storey extension was constructed to create the additional reception room.

Bi folding doors spill out onto the garden in good weather, and offer light, along with the roof window, even on the most gloomy days. A ground floor WC and utility are a really useful addition to every family home, and the garage/store retained to the front offer plenty of storage.
