Garden Room Extension- South Glos

The owners of this property bought, extended and renovated their cottage in 2007, and decided last year that some additional alterations would further enhance their lovely home. We designed a new stone porch, with a oak framed canopy and also a garden room to the end elevation of the house. They favoured using a timber frame design, with a solid roof, and this room was designed to give a light, bright, additional reception room, offering views to their garden. Alexandra Cork Home Designs designed and planned the porch and garden room, seeking planning permission and building regulations approval. The results really enhance the house, without detracting from the original alterations, and the oak and stone finishes help the additions to sit comfortably with the historic cottage.
