This one storey rear extension in Portishead also involved a substantial internal re-arrangement, with the aim of creating an open plan kitchen and living room, two ground floor bedrooms and a disabled access bathroom, for the owner’s two children, who both have mobility problems. Alexandra Cork Home Designs obtained planning and building regulations consents, and worked with a structural engineer and specialist pile foundation company, to design and detail this project.
